Spring 2015 Fashion Trends

Yes, you are seeing this correctly! OVERALLS are making a comeback this year, and it's a big one.  They have been seen in magazines such as Harpers Bazaar, and on the runways during fashion week.  I myself am liking this fashion trend, it has been well over 10 years since I have actually worn overalls and I wouldn't mind wearing them again, IF I found the perfect pair because this is definitely in my opinion one of the hardest looks to actually pull off. When wearing overalls you want to avoid baggy shirts and instead try fitting tees or blouses.

Another fashion trend that is huge this year and was seen everywhere on the runway is leather and what you would call..oh I don't know Gothic Chic??  From Vera Wang to Calvin Klein this trend was seen all over the Runways at New York Fashion Week!

Okay ladies, this is what we have been waiting for!  FRINGE Evening Wear, yes you heard me correctly!  This new trend has now brought us from skin tight dresses that hug and squeeze every inch of your body to dresses that swish, swoosh and sway with every step you take.  This Spring and Summer try adding some Fringe to your closet.  Fringe is in, and can be found on so many different articles of clothing.  From Fringe Vests, to Fringe Purses.

Another look that was really big on the New York Runways is Khaki!  Ralph Lauren showcased Khaki as more of an evening wear look while Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs had more of the "traditional" Khaki look.

Lets face it, not all of us are "Americas Next Top Model" so how exactly can we have this look more realistically this season.  Well there are lots of ways to make these trends work ladies, lets look at a few ideas!!

First we have Overalls:

These are a couple of examples of how to rock these seasons trend OFF the runway and on the street!  Trying pairing it with a flannel, sneakers, and a pair of sunglasses!

Next we have leather:

Leather can be worn in SO many ways, if you do it right.  Too much of anything is never good, and we aren't trying to be Catwoman (at least I don't think you are).  In order to do this look the right way, you don't want to over do it.  Like the pictures above, try pairing leather leggings with a loose fitting blouse, or a sexy leather jacket with a pair of ripped skinny jeans!

Fringe is IN:

Last but certainly not least..Khaki:

Khaki is such an amazing trend this season and is by far one of my favorites.  You can dress it up or down and wear it so many different ways. Have fun playing with all your options and trying out different colored Khaki!
