Fun Spring Makeup Look!

Hey Girls! So being from Massachusetts I am super excited that Spring is finally here!  I thought it'd be a great idea to share a really easy and fun Spring Makeup Look.  Let me know how you like it by commenting below, and share with me your results! Lets get started!!
So first you want to start by using a purple shade eyeshadow.  Your going to apply this over your entire eyelid.  Next you want to find a dark gray/dark purple eyeshadow to apply in the crease of you eyelid. Then you want to find a highlighting eyeshadow or regular highlighter and apply that above the eyeshadow, just under your brow bone. After this step you want to use an eyeliner like the one below (e.l.f shimmer eyeliner pencil-purple) and apply that under your lower lash line.
Now you want to use a black eyeliner for above your upper lashes.  I used my e.l.f shimmer eyeliner pencil in black.  The final step for your eyes is applying a black mascara to both your upper and lower lashes.
For the skin I used my normal foundation routine.  I contoured my cheeks slightly and topped it off with a shimmery bronzer.  Right above my bronzer, on my cheek bone, I applied a very pink blush for that beautiful Spring Look!(blush from e.l.f).

Next I lined my lips with a pretty pink lip liner and topped it off with a shimmery pink lip gloss!
There you have it ladies, a beautiful, fun Spring Makeup look in just a few easy steps.  Let me know if you liked this look and share your results with me!  If you would like to watch me create this look in more detail check out my video on YouTube. Hair Trends For Spring & Summer 2015

This Spring & Summer Season there are a lot of great Hair Trends that us girls should know about.  These trends have been seen all over the fashion runways and now it's your turn! Turn your street into a runway and look beautiful with these easy to-do hairstyles!

Half Up - Valentino

The first trend is the half-up, half-down centre parted style.

Accessories - Dolce & Gabbana
The second trend is accessories.  You can wear anything from a floral piece like this model to scarves.

The third trend is casual braids.  Give your hair a trendy twist by adding some simple braids throughout.  Try having a few random braids throughout your hair for a more casual look.  For a more evening look try braids pulled back into a tight updo.

Braids - Giorgio Armani
Ponytail - Gucci

The next look is of course, the one and only Ponytail!  This classic look is not going anywhere anytime soon!  Right now the low ponytail is rocking the ponytail world!  Try yours natural for a classic casual style, or slicked back for a sexy evening look!

Short-Cut - Burberry

Next is waves.  This is a trend that has been around for a while now and is a look that I personally adore.  Let your hair dry naturally for beautiful wavy locks, or if you have pin straight hair use hair rollers or a curling iron for loose flowing waves!

Waves - Burberry

I saved the best for last ( in my opinion). Short-cuts are definitely the look that I personally think are the most popular.  The look on the model on the right is a hair trend that I have been seeing everywhere..literally everywhere!  I LOVE this look I think it is just so classy and sophisticated.  It looks beautiful with one solid hair color but I also think it's a cut that looks great with an Ombre as well.

I have actually been thinking of doing this to my hair but I'm a little nervous since my hair is so long and it would be such a drastic change.  So let me know if you think I should go for it or keep my hair the same!!

I hope this was helpful to you beauties!  You can find more of all these looks at glamourmagazine.com.  If you want to see more posts like this let me know.  Check out my YouTube Channel for more beauty tips & trends and follow me on here for updates on new posts!  Thanks guys! - Victoria

Spring & Summer 2015 Accessory Trends!

When it comes to accessories, the trends are always changing! And for this Spring & Summer Season there are some top trends you need to try!  I did some research and came across what I think are the Top 5 trends of the season!

1.) Statement Earrings- Oversized and extravagant earrings are definitely the big trend this season.  They have been seen all over the runways and in top fashion magazines.  When it comes to this trend I love the idea of making a statement and wearing something bold but I also don't think I can pull off some of these high fashion looks that we've been seeing on the runway so there are other ways of doing it and looking fierce this season.

2.) Platform Sandals- Move over platform heels, sandals are taking over and making a huge impact on the runways.  Platform Sandals are a huge trend this season and can be found pretty much anywhere that sells shoes.  I found a couple of examples encase you have yet to see this trend.  Both of these shoes can be found at forever21.com.

The ones on the right are a faux leather with a criss-cross design and ankle strap.  The ones on the left are a sleek metallic faux leather with a Lug Sole.  They are both platform sandals but have completely different looks.  These sandals are so versatile and can be worn in so many different ways.  This is a definitely a trend you want to try this season!

Aldo $60.00
3.) The "it" bag- This season if you want to make a statement and really express your own original look your going to need your "it" bag.  Bags are huge this season and have been seen on the runways, names like Louis Vuitton, Burberry and Prada have really showcased some statement worthy bags. Obviously if your anything like me those brands are a little bit out of reach, but it is possible to get your very own "it" bag without breaking the bank.

Madden Girl
Guess
Urban Outfitters-$24.00
4.) Flats- Flats have been a trend for a while, and they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.  Thank God!  This is one of my favorite trends of the season.  Recently I have noticed a lot of flat sandals in so many different styles and I am just loving the variety that is available.  I actually went to Marshalls about a week ago and got myself a pair of Guess Flats and Madden Girl Flats, both for $40.00 each.

5.) Tied Belts- Belts have definitely made it into my top 5 spring trends for 2015.  They are huge this year and can be found everywhere on the runways and top fashion magazines.  These belts that are tied and come in many different styles are also   known as "obi belts".

Walmart- $4.97
Forever 21- $3.90
So after some researching and investigating I came up with these 5 trends as being the Top 5 for this Spring and Summer season.  There are a couple trends of my own that I would like to mention.  I think these accessories are an amazing addition to any outfit and can turn a plain outfit into a stylish statement.  First I want to mention my favorite accessory...Scarves!  Scarves are amazing because they look good during any and all seasons!  But for this Spring season there are some beautiful styles and looks available to help finish any outfit!  One of my favorite places to get scarves is get ready...Walmart!! They sell 2 packs of Infinity Scarves for only $5.00.  They have so many different colors and styles to go along with any outfit.  My second honorable mention is headbands/headwraps.  I think this look is so adorable and fashionable.  You can find them pretty much anywhere, personally I love getting them from stores like Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe.  So there we have it ladies the Top 5 Accessory Trends of the season plus my honorable mentions!  I hope this was helpful and if you have any questions/comments feel free to write them below or send me an email victoriabeauty320@gmail.com!

E.L.F (Eyes Lips Face) Product Review

When I went to Target the other day I was so excited to go check out what E.L.F products they had available.  Once I got to the makeup section I saw a display of E.L.F makeup sets.  One of the sets was the 5 Piece Get The Look Essential Eye Set and wait for it....it was $5.00!  So I snatched that up along with the 5 Piece Shimmer Eye Liner set which was also only $5.00!  That is what I really love about E.L.F, the quality is as good as some products that cost 10 times as much.  And let me tell you, everything that I got that day I was completely satisfied with and I would highly recommend these products!  Lets get started then!!

The first piece to the set is this 3 color eyeshadow.  It includes a beautiful gold, dark gray, and a beautiful highlight color. I was so amazed with the quality of this eyeshadow and how pigmented and gorgeous it looked.  I'm definitely going to be doing an eye makeup tutorial soon using only these E.L.F products!
The Set also came with a liquid eyeliner.  It has the perfect size brush which makes it easy to use, and last for HOURS.  The Mascara in the set was probably what I ended up being most impressed with.  It made my eyelashes look AMAZING, it lengthened them, and darkened them perfectly.  The last 2 pieces are the eyelash curler, and the eyeshadow brush so I'm not going to do a review on those.  I did also buy a couple of E.L.F brushes while I was there.  I got the Foundation Brush and the E.L.F studio Stipple Brush.
I thought that the foundation brush was okay, I wasn't necesarilly disappointed but I also wasn't too impressed. The foundation brush was only $2.00 and the Stipple Brush was $3.00. The E.L.F studio Stipple Brush I thought was pretty great, it did a wonderful job blending and contouring.  What I love about the Stipple Brush is that it can be used with both wet and dry product.  Both of these brushes I would recommend, especially to someone who is on a budget!

The next product that I purchased at Target was the E.L.F shimmer eyeliner set.  It came with 5 different colors including: purple, gold, teal, gray, and black. Or to be more specific what E.L.F calls Gunmetal, Boldly Bronze, Twinkle Teal, Plum Passion, Black Bandit.  The first thing I thought when I saw these pencils was this is PERFECT for the pop of color trend that is in this season and I couldn't wait to try it out!

When I first opened this set and tried out the pencils I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of them.  The colors were all beautiful and had the perfect amount of shimmer.  They glided on beautifully and each came with their own sharpener attached to their cap.

The only color I would say I was a little disappointed with was the gray, it looked more like the black pencil when I tried it on.  Otherwise all the rest of the colors I thought were really nice.
So there you have it ladies!  I'll end with this, I HIGHLY recommend e.l.f to anyone who is on a budget and looking for a good quality makeup.  I'll be posting an e.l.f makeup tutorial very soon! :)
Check out my e.lf. eye makeup tutorial <3

Hey everyone, so I have a few more products to add to my review that I just recently grabbed from
target the other day :)

So the first product that I got is this beautiful 32 Shade Eyeshadow Palette from e.l.f and it was an affordable $5.00.  So when I first used it I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the eyeshadows.  The colors are super pigmented and shimmery.  Although I absolutely love most of the colors in the palette, there are a few that I was a little disappointed with.  I found that most of the eyeshadows were pigmented and others were a little on the dull side. This is a product that I would recommend!
So next of course is the e.l.f Under Eye Conceal & Highlighter.  This is a product that when I run out I buy another one!  It does such a great job of really brightening up your dark circles and giving you a fresh, wide-awake look!

Last but certainly not least is the e.l.f daily brush cleaner.  What I did first was clean my brushes with one teaspoon of White Vinegar and hot water.  You soak your brushes in this mixture for 20 minutes and then let them dry.  Once the brushes are dry you take your e.l.f daily brush cleaner and spray each brush about 2 or 3 times.  After you spray the brush you want to take it & rub the brush on a clean cloth to get off any excess product.  Once you complete these steps just allow the brush to dry and your done!

Sephora Product Review

Yesterday I took a trip to Sephora and grabbed a few pieces that I think are pretty essential and I thought would be great to review.  I was very happy with the results and the quality of the products.  I decided to review the products and then share some photos and an easy how-to tutorial!

First we have:
                                                                                            FIRST IMPRESSION:
MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Contour Trio-Sassy-$21.00

Use all three for seamless, natural-looking radiance.

Next Is:

10HR Wear Perfection Foundation-$20

                                                                                  FIRST IMPRESSION:

Contouring 101 Face Palette-$28.00
This was probably the product that I was most excited about yesterday.  I was looking around for a contour palette that I thought had the best colors for my skintone and that was affordable.  When I saw this at Sephora I was so pleased to see the colors on the palette AND the  price ($28.00).

WHAT IT IS:
An exclusive pressed powder palette for  contouring and highlighting.

WHAT IT DOES:
Only at Sephora—this do-it-all contouring palette contains five perfectly selected shades in a single pan to sculpt and slim the face. Use the shades individually or mix and match to suit any face shape. Just choose the sculpting shade of your choice or combine shades and apply under cheekbones, along the sides of the nose or forehead, or under the jawline. Use the highlighting shades to brighten under the eyes and down the bridge of the nose for a naturally defined or dramatically sculpted look.

So I just recently went to Sephora and bought a few more  products.  Here they are:

Sephora Colorful Blush-True Kiss-$15.00

FIRST IMPRESSION:
When I first saw this blush I thought it was such a beautiful color.  It is a very pretty and subtle pink.  After applying it I was a little concerned when I could barely notice it.  Once I got to playing with this product a little more I fell in love with it.  TIP: Use a few applications to really get the full effect.

WHAT IT IS:
A collection of long-lasting buildable blushes.

WHAT IT DOES:
Available in an extended range of shades with matte, satin, and shimmer finishes, these blushes deliver a natural, long-lasting result. The ultra-sheer texture blends perfectly into the skin without caking, allowing for buildable intensity of color.

Full Action Extreme Effect Mascara-Black-$12.00

I got the Extreme Effect Mascara in Black.  When I first tried it I instantly fell in love with it.  I highly recommend this product.  It did such a wonderful job of lengthening, thickening and darkening my lashes.
